Small Business
Dr. Andrew Honeycutt is the recipient of a Doctor of Business Administration degree in Marketing from Harvard University and the Masters in Business Administration degree from Boston University.
His career has afforded him the essential experiences to be elected senator from Georgia State District 34. His background includes university and business school administration, economic development leadership, fund raising and teaching and community service. In addition, he has had the opportunity to work successfully with industry and government representatives, community leaders and others during his career.
His ability to work with small businesses is evidenced by service on local and national boards of directors including SCORE, Savannah Economic Development Authority, Pine Bluff Downtown Development Board, Rotary International, Fifty for the Future, United Way, Kauffman Foundation Entrepreneurship Education Committee, Jefferson County Workforce Alliance, Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation Small Business Strategic Planning Committee, and the Kansas Institute for African-American and Native American Family History and others.
